ZelTech helps USNORTHCOM's Joint
Task Force-Civil Support (JTF-CS) prepare for homeland defense operations.
ZelTech personnel stationed at Fort Monroe, Virginia assist in planning and
deploy to help JTF-CS provide command and control over DOD forces, assisting
civil authorities during exercises or actual incidents involving the use or
potential use of weapons of mass destruction within CONUS.
Our personnel have participated
in JCS-level exercises and they get involved in real-world contingency planning
for key National Special Security Events (NSSEs) such as the President's State
of the Union Address. They have also built emergency plans, showcased database
prototypes to FEMA and key emergency planners from around the country, created
continuity of operations (COOP) plans and agreements, and have provided valuable
support to JTF-CS IT and personnel services. These tasks included support
for such NSSEs as the National Democratic and Republican Conventions. Our
folks maintain 24/7 readiness to deploy. They have also been tasked to facilitate
the command group's strategic planning initiatives.
