Jack L. Ezzell, Jr., President and
CEO of Zel Technologies, LLC, was notified of his selection as the 1998 Small
Business Person of the Year for the Commonwealth of Virginia in a March 6,
1998, letter from Aida Alvarez, Administrator of the US Small Business Administration.
In her letter Ms Alvarez said, "Your hard work, great ideas, and dedication
have made you a success in your business and the US Small Business Administration
is pleased to be able to recognize you with this award."
As a State Small Business Person of the Year, Jack has
been invited to represent Virginia and Zel Technologies, LLC, during Small
Business Week ceremonies (May 31 - June 3) honoring state, advocate, and special
award winners in Washington, DC.
In a message to the ZelTech employees, Jack said, "This
is quite an honor and I shall graciously accept it on behalf of all of you
in ZelTech and the many others who recognize the importance of sharing their
good fortunes with others. I’m really not big on individual awards but
this is special because of you. Thank you so very much."
