The US Small Business Administration (SBA) has awarded
Zel Technologies, LLC of Hampton, VA. its prestigious Small Business Prime
Contractor of the Year award for Region III for 2001. All federal agencies
from across the nation nominate small business firms for this award. Region
III is one of the largest regions, encompassing Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania,
Virginia, Washington, D.C. & West Virginia.
Nominated by the Air Forces Tactical Applications Center,
Patrick AFB, FL, ZelTech captured the regional honors by winning over 24 other
nominees. This award recognizes ZelTech’s outstanding performance in
the federal contracting arena.
Jack Ezzell, President/CEO, of ZelTech accepted the award
on behalf of the company at Small Business Week Award ceremonies in Washington,
D.C. during the week of May 6th. ZelTech also received the "Administrator’s
Award for Excellence."
