Within each Geographic Office of the Defense HUMINT Service
(DHS), ZelTech personnel perform the full range of Human Intelligence (HUMINT)
Collection Management functions. They serve as the entry point to all DHS
geographic offices on requirements and tasking. ZelTech personnel support
preparation of Operational Directives (ODs), and are responsible for the coordination
and staffing of National HUMINT Collection Directives (NHCDs), and collection
requirements. They solicit evaluation inputs, prepare, and issue report evaluations.
They conduct research, and provide statistics on collection requirements,
reporting, and evaluations. They review and highlight unit reports for evaluation.
In coordination with government counterparts, they review each OD annually
or more frequently if needed and update them as appropriate.
