ZelTech provides scientific, engineering,
and technical assistance (SETA) in performing the IA/CND mission of the Missile
Defense Agency. ZelTech's role is to:
- Support IA/CND policy development and provide technical
assistance to MDA with respect to DITSCAP certification of MDA systems and
other information assurance efforts.
- Help draft, review, and recommend policies, cyber threat
assessment processes, System Security Accreditation Agreements (SSAA), System
Test and Evaluation (ST&E) plans and execution, Certification Reports/Recommendations,
and other DITSCAP artifacts.
- Assist in Information Systems Security Engineering of
the Ballistic Missile Defense System.
- Help minimize risk and provide defense in depth to computer
and network architecture components for MDA systems.
- Serve as liaison to intelligence agencies such as DIA,
NSA, and CIA.
