Under the DIA/DTT-1 (Technology Coordination
Office) Engineering Management Support Contract (TEMS) Air Force Technical
Applications Center, ZelTech experts in a variety of technologies provide
oversight of DIA MASINT and technical collection research and development
projects. We also review technical proposals, and work with government laboratories,
industry, and academia to identify solutions to satisfy operational needs
and fill key intelligence gaps.
ZelTech personnel have been integral to the transition
of the Central MASINT Organization into the new DIA infrastructure. Our roles
and responsibilities have increased significantly, to include source selection,
contract management, support to real time operations, and test management.
Our Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT)
Liaison Officers (MASLOs) at Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) and US Forces Korea
support Warfighting issues and discuss MASINT contributions to counter-terrorism
activities. Our MASLO at JFCOM has also focused on helping Guard and Reserve
forces better understand the value of MASINT.
