As a Lead Systems Integrator (LSI), we provide services
for a variety of port security projects at multiple terminals. The projects
include Chemical/Biological/Radiation/Nuclear Emergency (CBRNE) detection
systems, Perimeter Security, Maritime Domain Awareness, and Security Planning.
Initial projects include Radiation Detection Systems; Closed
Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance Systems; Rail Gates, Clear Zone &
Fence Improvements; Automated Incident Planning, Incident Response, Consequence
Management System for integrated command and control; security assessments
and development of facility security plans to meet regulatory requirements.
These initial projects form the foundation for a risk-based Integrated
Security System that enables the entire Hampton Roads port community to
achieve effects based, technology enhanced, security as rapidly as is
practicable. Our efforts ensure adequate resources are being deployed
to meet the authorized work scope; grant requirements are met, and the
establishment of programmatic controls needed to ensure a viable and effective
port security program. ZelTech has developed a security master plan that
integrates all security enhancements.
We provide the coordination, rollout, and implementation of plans to include
the acquisition and installation of security-related equipment, acquisition
of any necessary permits and the implementation of any required construction.
We continue working with the VPA to identify additional funding requirements
and assist in the preparation of grant requests to support further implementation
of additional port security measures.
