Mr. Ezzell has spent his career applying advanced technology solutions to critical enterprise problems. He has won numerous Virginia and national awards for exceptional business achievement and community service. Jack is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, holds an MBA degree from the Ohio State University, and is a retired Air Force Colonel.
Jim Grant
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Grant has been involved in military, intelligence and security operations for over five decades. He has served as CEO of the National Military Intelligence Association and as a member of a number of industry Boards. Jim is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, received a Master’s Degree in Russian Studies from Georgetown University, and graduated from the National War College. He is a retired Air Force Brigadier General.
Lynn Taylor
President & Chief Operations Officer

Ms. Taylor, CPA, is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. Her career includes four years of public accounting and over twenty years as a corporate accountant for companies in the health care, public utilities, and government contracting industries. She is a 2006 graduate of the Leadership Institute of the Virginia Peninsula and a 2011 graduate of the Civic Leadership Institute (Hampton Roads).
Dr. Orion Vanderlinde
Senior VP Operations & Chief Science Officer

Dr. Vanderlinde has supported the DoD with subject matter expertise and program management since 2004. In addition to directing Zeltech’s Scientific and Technical Operations, he is a nuclear detonation (NUDET) Prompt Diagnostic subject matter expert, technical expert, software developer, and project manager of a number of NUDET detection programs including National Technical Nuclear Forensics. Dr. Vanderlinde is also the head of ZelTech’s M&S group providing unique first principles M&S solutions.
Susan Hughes
Vice President, Contracts

Ms. Hughes, a graduate of Christopher Newport University, holds a BS in Accounting. She has held positions in both Accounting and Contract Administration including Administrator, Manager, Director and now Vice President. In the past 30+ years she has worked closely with Government, program management and industry personnel. In her current position she oversees Contract/Subcontract Administration and complete cost proposal preparation.
Ken Sherwood
Vice President, Business Development

Mr. Sherwood has held a number of senior positions at ZelTech ranging from Program Manager to his current position. Ken is a Coast Guard Academy graduate and has a Master’s Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is on his second appointment with the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is a 2018 graduate of the Chamber's LEAD Peninsula class.
Barry White
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Barry White joined the company in 2019 and brings over 20 years of experience in Accounting and Finance within the government contracting industry. Over his career, he has held several leadership positions including Finance Manager, Division Controller, and Sector Controller. Barry holds two bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration (Financial Management and Information Technology) and an MBA. A strong family man, Barry has a wife and four daughters. Being raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, he is an avid outdoors-man who enjoys fishing, hunting, and sports. Barry, a man of positive values, is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a US Army Veteran, and a partner at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, in Chesapeake VA.
Dave Popkin
Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Mr. Popkin, an Old Dominion University graduate, holds a BS in Computer Science. He is charged with managing technology and change in the enterprise. He is also focused on compliancy and risk mitigation. He is a 2010 Leadership Institute of the Virginia Peninsula graduate and Midas Leadership Award Recipient.
Charlotte Hurd
Vice President, Corporate Outreach

Ms. Hurd became a part of the ZelTech team in July 2021. She serves as the company representative for government, business, and community relations in her role. Before joining ZelTech, Ms. Hurd served in federal and state politics as the military liaison to U.S. Senator Mark R. Warner and as a confidential assistant in the office of former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe. She is a 32-year Navy veteran and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Park University and a Master of Science degree in Management from Troy University. She currently serves as a board member for the Greater Peninsula Now, Hampton Federal Area Development Authority and the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.
Jay Ezzell

Sherri Crawford
General Counsel

Ms. Crawford has managed legal affairs for privately and publicly held companies for over 22 years with 12 years of experience in the Government Contracting sector. After working for a private law firm, she began her in-house legal career in Silicon Valley. Ms. Crawford is responsible for providing and overseeing legal advice in support of the Company’s business. Ms. Crawford obtained her B.A. in English from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and attended Magdalen College in Oxford, England. She is a Board Member of the Virginia State Bar’s Intellectual Property Section.
