10/13/2023 – OSEE 2 contract award
On 13 October 2023, the Air Force awarded Zel Technologies, LLC (ZelTech) the United States Prompt Diagnostic System (USPDS) Operational System Employment & Execution (OSEE) II contract which commenced on 1 November 2023. This is a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling value of $45M for a five-year base period and one optional two-year ordering period for a total of seven years. ZelTech recently completed the first five-year award of this contract (OSEE) at the end of October and looks forward to continuing to support this critical mission through 2030.
The Air Force is tasked with creating and maintaining the United States Prompt Diagnostic System (USPDS), which falls under the National Technical Nuclear Forensics (NTNF) mission. The NTNF mission is to detect, identify, and characterize nuclear events and to report nuclear forensic information to national authorities. The USPDS is a fully integrated, terrestrially based, geographically dispersed, centrally managed prompt detection and reporting system.
The scope of this contract is to provide Operations, Maintenance, and Research & Development support to the USPDS in the mission areas of Speed of Sound (SOS) and Speed of Light (SOL) and to support sensor nodal locations located throughout the continental United States.
Subcontractors assisting ZelTech are Applied Research Associates (ARA), Red Arch Solutions, Inc and S2Technologies, LLC.
